Violet, et al (I say that because I have no idea who might be sending up prayers), y’all are the best. As of this writing, it looks like Hurricane Matthew’s track has “wobbled” east — which means Florida’s Atlantic coast won’t suffer a direct hit — and has been downgraded from a Category 4 hurricane to a Category 3. Woo-hoo!!Prayer changes things.
But we’re still not out of the woods yet. The brunt of Matthew’s fury should arrive around 3:00 a.m., Friday.
Safe and dry here at Chez Clay, but there’s certainly some folks on the coast who didn’t evacuate, as well as inland who are in much worse condition. Keep them in your prayers, too.
