[Tough love talk]

What do you have to lose? Not that many actors, singers, dancers, designers, or artists in general who decide to work for FREE because their target audience might not be able to afford their creations.

If you don’t see yourself as a professional, no one else will. It may sound harsh, but are you going to starve so that someone else won’t?

It seems that wildly popular and prolific writers have not a thing to lose. Even if you have a modest following you have nothing to lose. I’ve written here for a couple of years and I think some of it’s solid. There’s enough of it there that will be available for those who are not members.

Plus, just because you put something behind the wall, it doesn’t mean it has to stay there forever.
