Shmuel, that’s interesting that you are a “classical liberal,” because I’ve been dubbed a liberal more times. Hm. But hey, that’s cool because that’s another instance of why I dislike labels.
Please don’t tell me you’re one of those people who doesn’t believe things if there’s not tables, charts, and graphs. If you’re looking for that, you’re going to be sorely disappointed because that’s not what I do. I write opinion pieces, observations, that sort of thing. You know …
I hope you’re not wanting documentation of my personal experiences. Where’s the fun in reading an essay that might resonate with you—not you per se because there’s no charts and well, the whole experience would be a waste of your time)? But for those people who read my essays and think, yeah, I think that way too. Similar things have happened to me, the charts, graphs and table would just gum up the whole experience. So I guess readers will have to kinda eat the fish and spit out the bones when I write about my personal experiences.
I’m just looking through my opinion piece again and I guess the only thing that could be argued for veracity is that dust-up in Charlottesville. But if you doubt that it happened, be my guest to research it. And when the one who shall not be named compared Lee to Washington, that happened to. Unfortunately.
And the Charleston thing? Yep that happened, too.
I guess that leaves the rest of it, and that’s like 80%, all opinion. You know, things I’ve seen, observed, thought about, and the like.
But you know what? I bet we’d get along just fine and find that we have more in common than you think. Just because I have a couple of grievances with the media doesn’t mean don’t value them and they do. Nothing could be further from the truth. I just think they could put … you know … put on a better show.
And thanks for taking the time to check out my blurb and joining the blurbage.
