, I had you and a few other people in mind before the opportunity came to tell this story. We all know the horror stories of social injustices. We don’t even have to look turn on the TV or look at our mobile devices, not when we can step outside our front doors and experience people at their worst. But it’s easy to think that there’s only bad in the world if that’s all you’re looking for. I thought it was important to share this anecdote because it came at the right moment in my life and made me feel better going down a road I’d rather not travel.

Like I said, we just have to do what we can where we are. And probably our greatest impact to others comes through simply being ourselves and engaging with people — even those who are different from us — in an open and honest way. Some people don’t know about dealing with one another that way because they haven’t experienced it. Maybe it’s up to us to be the example.

Just a thought.

Keep up the good work, my dear! — xox —
