Thanks. I still regard “SNL” as a platform for liberalism, and it fine to want to broaden the viewership. They’re in the business of harvesting eyeballs for their show, but it shouldn’t be at the cost of marginalizing anyone. And the reason the dismissal has caught fire is that the “comedy” which was in question is simply because it denigrates marginalized people.
As for Gillis’ PR machine … not surprise if that happens: this is America, home of soylent capitalism.
