Kate, sorry for the delay in replying.

Yeah … now that you mention it, I do remember a show about nothing that ran for a few years. Confession: the fear is that it won’t hit all the bells and whistles I’d like it to. I see much writing that does exactly what I’d like to achieve. So very many balls to keep in the air while moving the story along, believable characters, dialog, yaddah, yaddah, yaddah, and it helps to have a succinct message. You know, what’s it about?

Thanks for the encouragement. The outline is pretty much done now. I could keep outlining the thing to death and never get it written. So I guess now’s about as good a time as any to set that 400+ song Christmas playlist on repeat and hunkering down over my laptop with a neverending supply of peppermint mochas (my year-round espresso beverage of choice).

Happy holidays, and a joyous Christmas to you, Ms. Kate Stone Matheson.

P.S. And what’s this about being hesitant to comment on my posts? Don’t be silly. We’re all friends here on Medium. Believe it or not, Medium’s a big ol’ classroom and we’re all just teaching one another what we’ve learned along the way. And you’ve filled my heart with your comment the way no one else has. Honestly, your comment was the gentle nudge that got me to finish the outline. Thanks for the Miracle on Medium Street.
