It’s funny … before I read your article I was thinking man, tomorrow is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and I haven’t written anything. Do I try to crank something out in time? No. Because anything I write in a hurry is never representative of me or the ideas I want to express. And I dropped it. Others will write thoughtful and thought-provoking pieces.

I just need to plan ahead. Maybe I’ll make that a goal for this year: planning to write timely pieces.
