In some instances, it’s like the word “diversity” is supposed to be this magic band-aid or cure-all. Don’t get me wrong, the programs and awareness this department is bringing to human and civil rights is outstanding. This was the first I ever heard of anything like this happening here in Orlando, but it’s the behind-the-scenes interactions that were disheartening.

It’s weird, I could falsely present a bloated facade, but that’s not me. I can’t live with myself knowing that I’ve taken advantage of someone. It’s not who I am. That stuff always comes back to bite you in the ass.
