Gutbloom, this was so much fun to read! Very John Irving (whom I adore), with just a hint of Stephen King, and perfectly placed wisps of humor. And grace notes of John Christiansen’s (my former pastor and good friend) existentialism at the end, too. Very nice. Very nice indeed.

I want to write like this.
