I love the benefits that come with new wall color, but as for doing the actual painting, I’m no fan of it at all. With the one or two times I’ve tried my hand at at painting a room, I seem to get the majority of the wall color up, but when it comes to doors, framing, etc., I always come to a section that’s a little too challenging and it never gets finished. For example, my bedroom. The walls are all painted, but framing on the closet and the doors are kinda half painted. I may have been using the wrong paint to cover the wood and just gave up. So half of it’s painted white with the original brown showing on the other half.

I admire anyone who can see a painting project through to the end.

And you’re welcome about the other stuff. It’s good to read about other people’s processes. Keep up the good work!
