I think you really hit the nail on the head with, “Writing can change a person’s life especially if they can see themselves in the words.” I think this is especially true even when readers are confronted with words they may not agree with. Because even in the difference of opinion there’s room for them question if that applies to them … “Do I do that? Have I ever done that?” … but the key is have to get to and through the words to begin with.
