Chris, words like “devout” scare me. I actually had to go look that one up as there’s so much baggage attached to that word.

devout: having or showing deep religious feeling or commitment; totally committed to a cause or a belief

Thank you for the gift of your trust. It’s not something I take for granted. But remember, I’m human and I screw things up. A lot. It’s not intentional, but it happens. And I’m know it’ll happen again.

I’m always saying love one another, love one another. The way I see it is, how can I have any credibility if I’m not demonstrating what I’m touting? If you’ve found any reason you trust me, know that I am not deserving of your trust. What you’re trusting is a glimmer of Christ in me … despite me.
