Brian, thanks for commenting. You know … growing up and discovering via our own firsthand experience that some things our parents taught us weren’t right can be a tough shift for some people to make, but it’s not impossible. I know what you mean when you say that I’m being “understanding to ignorance,” that’s nice and thank you. But I like to think it’s not so much being understanding about ignorance, because ignorance has injured and killed a great many people throughout history—and like you said, a disservice and shame. I think we can all make headway here when we’re first understanding to one another as people.
