Brian (BFoundAPen), I’m rying to figure out how to say this without making a complete or even a partial ass of myself.

Thank you for writing this. I’ve not been as attentive to Medium as I have been in the past. There’ve been writers I’ve seen around and read a piece or two here and there, and well life gets in the way, the Muse gets pissed off (thank you, Jack Preston King), and the result is I miss out on traveling with other writers . . . other people . . . on their journey.

And that’s what’s happened here.

I hadn’t connected the dots with you and your journey. Things seemed a bit hazy, and to my own detriment and a disservice to you I know I’ve missed out on probably some good writing from someone with both a clear voice and compelling voice . . . until now. Chances are you’ve told readers bunches of times about your experiences as a transman, I’m sorry I’ve missed out. But thank goodness you probably have a sizable body of work I can dive into.

So again, thanks for putting yourself out there, even if it is yet again! Can’t wait to read your works!

And let me leave you with this word of encouragement for the journey that I share with all who are in the process of becoming their best selves* —

Embrace all that you are and strive to become all that God created you to be.

*not sure if that’s grammatically correct, but you get the idea.
