Baddis, welcome to the party! Chips are over there, drinks are in the fridge!

As for Newton’s third law, well-played; but I don’t believe you for a minute, man. While I get the impression you’re speaking from experience about going mano a mano with talking points and stereotypes, I don’t believe that pseudo-pessimism you’re throwing out there.

I say that because you used the magic word: probably. That and you say you “enjoy” my stuff. And all I’m hawking is realistic optimism and the belief that —

“ … a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” —Margaret Mead

Keep in mind, I know optimism alone won’t get squat accomplished without some effort. I’m hoping via these conversations that people become motivated to do what they can right where they are. (You can’t see it, but I have this HUGE grin on my face because I believe this can happen.)

You may be a battle-weary and a little worn down, but there’s no way you can batten down the hatches and watch another episode of America in Retrograde. We need all hands on deck, baby!

Thank you for taking a little time to give my ramblings a read.

Love one another!
