She planned to travel to Orlando and lead protests of what she believes is “LGBT indoctrination” at Disney World. She also wanted to hand deliver a petition with nearly half a million signatures asking The Walt Disney Company “to stop the LGBT propaganda and gender indoctrination.”
[After twenty minutes of eye-rolling . . . ]
This woman, her misguided and uninformed efforts aren’t worth my time; but hey, I’m convalescing after knee surgery so I’ll waste a few minutes. Disney is too huge, too progressive, too twenty-first century to even give this woman the time of day.
To whom? Cruella de Ville? Ursula? Maleficent? Trust me, Mickey and any of the other VIPs are far too busy making pixie dust and helping families of all types create lifelong, life-edifying memories to be bothered with such Medieval thinking.
Oh, for Walt’s sake.
I try not to “should” on people, but . . . she should focus her attention on matters that will have a direct and positive impact on her own life. Idunno . . . like maybe: a) rooting out the source of her patent hatred for LGBTQ people, b) getting or travel authorization in order, and c) learning how to love and accept herself. Seems to me that that’s a tall enough order in and of itself to occupy till . . . well, the rest of her life.
This woman is such a non-issue. Seems like Karma’s got this one covered.
